The City of Granite Falls Electrical Distribution Department has been providing the City of Granite Falls with safe, cheap, and efficient electric power since 1911.
Another $2Million Grant Awarded Through The Renewable Development Account (RDA)
2022 Capital Funding Legislation will provide the City of Granite Falls with continued funding to make needed repairs to hydroelectric plant facility. In total to date, the city has been awarded $4,735,000 for hydro facility improvements. This included funding to replace turbine unit #3. The new unit will continue to help the city's hydroelectric generation capacity and will provide ongoing revenues to the municipal utility and utilize a carbon-free renewable energy resource.
